If you are going to invest out of state, you need to really do you due diligence, both on the property and the team.

If you put the right team in place that you can trust, it really isn't too hard.

We have a good cleaning team and handyman if needed.It isn't that hard really, but remember, your usage must be 14 days per year or less if you want to take advantage of all the deduction of expenses for running a vacation rental home.As far as loans go, we just applied for a 2nd home loan and that was that.

Also, we are in the process of building our team in the area so if you know of or have any recommendations for top property managers or agents in the area that would be amazing. 

We are in the process of researching this market and building our team on the ground.
