REI from afar (Military)

Hello all!!! We currently live in Germany (Military) and have another 2.5 years out here but we really want to start investing into RE but don’t know where to start. We have a home already in Florida (we purchased for my husbands grandparents) and that is where we are planning to move to make it home. So this is where we would like to start. My question is do you guys think it’s smart to try to start purchasing other properties while being away ? Or If we should even start looking now.

We are planning to go back for 2 weeks next month and I really wanted to get started but honestly don’t even know how or where to start. I been looking at a ton of houses there and have seen some great deals( mostly onlIne) Anyone know any good real estate agents that can help us out. Or where should we turn to. We have about 10-15k that we would like to get started with. Any advise is appreciated. 😊
