I find it hard to believe that its a problem they would have been working on for almost 50 years but unable to resolve.Baltimore is a lot like Detroit -- Baltimore used to be a manufacturing powerhouse with Bethlehem Steel being one of the largest employers.

You may want to check with a few mobile home dealerships and/or the local manufactured home association.

The units are much cheaper online then through your local supply company, but when I brought the online price to my local supply company, they were able to go back to the manufacture (LG), and got a cheaper price, almost matching the online price.

Though sometimes I wonder if it would be better in the long term if the last of the big manufacturers would just die and let the city redefine itself with a more stable and diverse economy (is this blasphemous?)

Hi Jered, Do you remember what manufacturer's sub-metering products you used? 

Also make sure you have several extra boxes because if they do get damaged it is really easy to pull them up and replace them but the manufacturer will discontinue the exact model and you have to replace it all. 

Extremely difficult to match trim pieces(especially stairs) if the manufacturer does not make a good quality one.Laminate Pros: Looks, huge 10"x80" planks for only $3/sqft.

I don't think you need to purchase a new vehicle, just one with low miles that is from a reliable manufacturer. 

Many other countries have 90% of their housing modular or manufactured.
