You can also go on your county auditor's website and plug in addresses to check the currently appraised value of any home in the area, and it will tell you when the last transfer of the property was and for how much.

@Chris Garzino, I did it the old fashioned way (and cheap method) of plugging criteria from my county's assessor office parcel search and looking for mismatched addresses (property vs. owner address).
