I recently inherited a decent house in a hard to sell area so I am a reluctant, yet willing to learn landlord. 

I'm referring to my mother's house she inherited from my grandmother after she died.

We are using cozy for online payments with inherited tenants but are about to do our first screening to fill a vacancy.

Did you inherit a House and need to sell?

We always tear off before we install new, but we inherit a two layer occassionally, although the inspectors typically note it on home inspection reports, it has  never nixed a sale for us. 

I'm always very cautious of "inheriting" bad tenants..    

When we "inherit" tenants I always give them the chance to pay rent (that was agreed upon with previous owner) and stay.  

Owners had inherited the house from a deceased family member and tried renting it remotely for several years. 

I typically deal with vacant houses that have been inherited so when I go see the property I typically do not see the seller there.
