@Tristan RothI think it's a great idea...get local, like-minded people together...energy flows to where your focus goes...before you know it, you'll have an investment under your belt.I personally, have joined a few REIA groups through a website called meetup.com.

If you go to meetup.com, you'll find quite a few others.Our Facebook groups for STL investors are also very active - do a search for them and join every one you can.That's where I would start - networking.

Still lookin for any other investors that want to join into the discussion.

Since then I have joined BiggerPockets at the end of July, read "The Book on Real Estate Investing with Little or No Money Down," "How to Invest in Real Estate" and several others, along with listening to the BP podcast when ever I have the opportunity!
