Hello From Sacramento Area

Hi everyone, I am James, I am married with one 2-year-old. I am originally from Florida, but I joined the Air Force back in 2011 and have been stationed all over the world. I became an accidental Landlord in 2016 when I got an assignment to Misawa Japan 5 months after I closed on my first home. It was a learning curve to say the least. Thankfully I had an awesome supervisor who purchased a home everywhere he went, and he suggested a few books I should read, one was Rich Dad Poor Dad, and the other was "The Book on Rental Property Investing". This is how I discovered BiggerPockets. I have been listening to the Podcast ever since, I listened from episode 1 to about 60, then decided to move ahead to around the COIVD age to get advice and tips more aligned with the current climate.

This past June the Air Force sent me to Beale AFB, California (Yuba City, Plumas Lake, Marysville area, north of Sacramento). If anyone in the area needs any help, please reach out and let me know what I can do (I have a Project Management Degree, hint, hint contractors). Also, I’d love the down low on any real estate meetups. I know David Greene had some set up in Sacramento, I signed up for alerts from his website, but I assume it was a COVID casualty for now.
