I would recommend hiring a property manager so you dont have to deal with headaches like that, for future.if you go to court, it will just stress you out.

Far more things to stress over.  

If you are determined to stay in the re market then it doesn't really matter which of your home or your rental is paid off, as long as one is safe/low stress for your income.

Honestly, buying or selling a house is one of the most stressful experiences someone can go through,   Most people don't sell for fun, they sell because they have a need.   

The first deal is always the most stressful/exciting deal you have!

Stress test your analysis to ensure you can make it through any potential pull back in the market.

My realtor never explained this  Anyhow she mentioned you don't need to stress out they know it's coming from your primary so give them $1300 they cannot reject your offer.When speaking to the realtor I asked do I technically or legally have too.

Also, if you are buying a 3-4 unit property, make sure you educate yourself on the Self Sufficiency test (aka Stress Test) that FHA requires. 

While we stress investing for cash flow, the growing areas can build appreciation as a bonus.Good luck to you!
