The biggest concern with the property is the wood plank porch was built directly over the garage without any waterproofing.

Just wondering if this is what others have found and if there are other solutions besides split systems which, as I stated above, haven't quite caught on yet in my neck of the woods.

Stacked some hay for horses, got wood to fix bad spot in barn roof. 

I only need one really good deal to get the ball rolling in my neck of the woods, as the rehab spreads are a lot higher here.

Bottom line is the whole health plan centers around healthy people paying a premium so the rising claims by baby boomers about 20 million retiring in the next 10 years and the poor will get coverage.

One of them has stucco siding, which is "dated" in New England - the other is vinyl.Question - what is the property "construction technique" for applying either say wood clapboard or cedar shingles over concrete - do you "strap" the concrete with wood - or, are say "concrete nails" sufficient" - also - what is standard for the interior walls - screwing a 2 X 4 against the wall (at 16" intervals) and then sheet-rocking over that?

Another real estate investor I know owns hundreds of acres of wood land, that he has selectively timbered once every 10 years. 

Agreed, I love the look of wood (who doesn't), but with dogs scratching my floors all the time it kills me!
