Medical Space ... On hold!

Many of you know I've written on Medical Office Space. After our lender had a stroke, we've been trying to figure out a way to fund a medical office project in Fullerton. I wrote a blog post some time back titled, Medical Space, The Perfect Storm. In light of that, I wanted to write a post and say that with all the fiasco of Obamacare, we are putting the project on hold.

Though we've had interest from physicians, and medical groups for preliminary information, and we still believe medical space will be a good investment, now is not the time to do it, in my opinion. We'll just wait until this all shakes out.

Do any of you have space leased out to physicians? How do you think what's happening with Obamacare will affect your properties?
