Building codes are continually changing.If you are insistent on living in a property under to today's code, you need to live in a new construction property.

As you imply: there is no set standard for "conservative", but my personal POV is we are going to be living with 6% interest rates for a while.

Hi BP I currently own a triplex in Tucson AZ where I live in one of the units.

I was living at this property and renting out rooms.

A 1,767 SF (Living) for $369,900 and a 1,767 SF Pool homes for $479,000.

I live in Lehigh (save a ton of money that way) and I also own a single family rental in Lehigh that has great tenants. 

I used to work in that vicinity and lived in one of the suburbs several years ago.

I'm witnessing my neighbor go through hell and paying for squatters living in their house and losing money instead of making for 7 months while trying to get these people evicted.

Could you share more information, such as , did you buy it close to where you live, what softwares are you using to automate, are you self managing or have a PM in place for maintenance and bookings and also communicating with guests?
