Well, I am sure my open rate is pretty good with the attempts I have made because I keep getting phone calls from the local sheriffs office about scams and people being concerned of getting scammed.

You can find a house right now on BP where the seller was scammed by an unlicensed broker that signed a contract, lied to the owner about showing the house to an "inspector" when they were actually someone the "buyer" was trying to assign to, and then walked away leaving the owner with nothing but a bad experience AND an education on how many of the frauds in this realm work.

It does not sound as if these tenants are attempting to scam you.  

That's a common scam slum lords pull around here, as it's a good way to milk the city for money.

This popped up on social media, and my first thought was "SCAM!"
