A lot of GC''s have time and money tied up in there business and would rather be hired for a job where they know they will profit rather than gamble on a property that could not only lose money, but also keep them and their employees away from other paying jobs.

Its more speculation and bordering on gambling.

It's possible to make money but really investing across national borders is not for small individual investors.

If your units meet the qualifications of no-fault eviction, I would start the termination process over (because may 25 was so recently I would not gamble and try to amend existing notice that may be found not to be compliant with ab1482).  

There were other impacts too - gambling addictions, ruined marriages, crime, etc.

I would be in Las Vegas 2-3 days per week and gamble with a daily bankroll of $10K.

For those not familiar with SoCal, Escondido borders San Diego to the South and approximately 20 miles East of the Pacific Ocean.  

That said, I think that the market in the area is strong given it's vicinity to the MA border; so I would absolutely consider investments in neighboring towns.Happy investing,Troy
