The reason you're likely getting a deal is because, as others have said, you're buying unknowns. 

(a few unknowns here). 

Many people stay away because of the unknowns (in addition to the known fears of unemployment, vacancy rates, and violence, associated with the area).The more accurate information available the more quickly us investors can make money (and help communities).

In my county properties without owners are titled 'Unknown'.

But that depends if you want to get financing to do this deal..and depends on the type of loans you would be making payments on if you just did a deed transfer.Too many unknowns here...maybe elaborate?

Because you're new and unknown many investors may not be interested in working with you unless you're offering them a really good deal.

There was another thread about this started a few weeks ago where I posted as initially being in favor of the shutdown at that time because too much was unknown and we needed to prevent the healthcare system from being overwhelmed. 

Perhaps once there aren't so many "unknowns".

Unfortunately this can't & wont be resolved by denying my permit because the community already knows where this popular home is located so the traffic & unknown people driving down a public street will continue either way.

Seasoned investors have south desks because something is overlooked or just unknown costs.
