It's a 6 unit property and it's getting clogged near the main drain and under my unit.

Another house we part owned flooded significantly and premiums were like $3000/year after  sandy, if we kept it then it would have drained us. 

She gave me my hope back that the other guy drained from me.  

@David Mohrmann, so long as the expected appreciation more than covers the negative cash flow, and your income readily allows for such a continual drain - why a limit?

While pre-sold units are nice, taking on a customer is a god awful drain on your time and patience.  

Hi Team,There is greywater coming up through the basement floor drain.

I won't install french drains or interior curtain drains. 

(This summer we finally cut loose 30-40 rehab investment listings because they were positioned to financially drain us when the market slowed down).We've also had two larger rehab groups that absolutely consumed my wife’s time this year (basically she became a free consultant training their staff on how to rehab until we we're forced to let go of the clients and their listings).

It has appreciated quite nicely, but cashflow has been bad and the most recent repairs drained everything I had in the bank from the previous 8 years. 

The swimming pool liner leaked so the majority of the water drained out.
