I don't think it makes sense for us to buy something brand new as that would take a lot of potential profit out of the investment. 

And among the stallions it's common to see brand new kitchens and baths, flooring and fittings, etc.

Everything freshly painted, curb appeal and ready to show. 

I like the off-the-shelf brand at Home Depot and put them into my own kitchen.

When that happened, bought a brand new car all cash (job was in NJ), bought another 2 family rental, and a year after that a SFH rental.
