One of my condos is a deal that I found out about from the board president, and I'm currently waiting to close on one that came from a guy I met in the neighborhood.I also try to take a board member out for breakfast every now and then.

I live in Indialantic and even with the growth over the last 27 years, i still pass the same diner we used to eat breakfast at after surfing when I was a kid and most of the same surf shops are still here, it's still the sleepy little surf town I've always known.

Spending an hour with a board member can give you a great deal of information on what's really going on.If there's something bothering you about the operation of of your HOA I'd suggest you spend the value of a breakfast at McDonalds and talk to a member of the board (retired guys on the boards love to be taken out for breakfast).
