McKinney is thriving, but so are other parts of North Texas, and a broader perspective could reveal other great opportunities. Here’s what I’ve observed managing a significant number of rentals in the area:Bedrooms and Layouts:3-bed, 2-bath homes consistently attract the largest pool of tenants and have the highest occupancy rates.4-bedroom homes have grown in demand, especially with the rise of remote work, as tenants look for extra space to use as a home office.Square footage is less critical than number of beds and baths.Supply and Demand:McKinney’s growth is driving demand, but the quality of the location matters greatly.

Good afternoon, I currently live in the UK in a property owned here with my partner, I have two properties in WA- One is a long term rental property with no mortgage that I inherited in 2020 and the other is currently used as an AirBnb with a mortgage that I am still paying and have been for the past 4 years.I am looking to sell the house that has no mortgage however we have to wait untill June for the tenants to move out and it is unlikely that it will sell before then as it needs some work done to clean it up for listing. What are my options currently?

The combination of families looking for more space, good schools, and a quieter lifestyle has been a big driver of demand. For my investments, I’ve noticed:High tenant quality: Families or professionals relocating to suburbs like Naperville and Wheaton tend to stay longer, which helps with stability.Increased competition: It’s definitely tougher to find good deals, especially in top-tier school districts.
