hello to all. just a quick description of myself. i am a real estate investor working in the western New York area. i have been doing this in this area for 12 years now, with many successes. i am a licensed home inspector, work as a handyman for a local property management company, and currently own several investment houses. i can safely say that i know the area quite well. given my home inspectors experience, i feel very confident in my ability to judge the condition of a house and evaluate the rehab to bring it back to a marketable condition. having a degree in accounting, i feel quite confident in my ability to manage the numbers part of the transaction as well. having recently passed a course in furnace installation and repair, i feel i can safely replace appliances such as the furnace if need be and a water heater if need be, saving large sums of money in the rehab. he is what i am looking for. i am looking for a HML to fund my latest find. a 4 bedroom, one bath house with two stall garage in a family neighborhood that i currently own 2 houses in and have purchased more in the same neighborhood in the passed. 

I do not have any degree in business/ economics and because of this I would not know how to invest.

Since then I’ve completed my undergraduate degree in Info Tech, held a variety of positions in I.T., started a family and am possibly looking into starting my graduate degree in January of 2017.I’ve been quite interested in entrepreneurship for a while now and have chosen Real Estate as the venture that I believe will launch me into an entrepreneurial career as well as trading in FOREX.

To that degree, I agree about the "surplus" of beds; however, differentiation sounds to be your play (going "upscale").One suggestion - have you ever looked at properties more towards Clarksburg?

I always suggest to those young kids on BP looking for a college degree or internship jobs to check out construction management.

My degree was in Organizational Behavior and Business Management.

Since the weather in Chicagoland is nearly identical to MKE area, maybe 1 degree warmer average annual temp if that, I'd certainly assume that any property that has electric service also has a gas line running to it, unless you're in a rural area where they'll often have a big propane tank sitting outside someplace.

I graduated from college with a degree in business administration so have a basic understanding as to what makes businesses successful.

He has a kid fresh out of college with a degree in the stuff.

., but I'm having a hard time finding a sales position considering I don't have a degree, which a lot of employers require.
