Hello!

I am thinking about investing in Real Estate a LOT and I am studying the business by listening to all of the podcasts, reading all of the books out there, analyzing at least one deal a day by trying to figure out numbers. I have chosen my niche which will be students flats.

At the time I am studying construction civil engineering and I want to buy my first house next year (3 years left of school) in the big well known city among tourists and students in one of the european country. Real Estate in this place is actually relatively cheap. I would like to house- hack the first student house by living in the apartment and renting out the other bedrooms.

I think I will have enough money in cash to pay for at least 50% of the deal by having my own spare money and my parents as investors helping me out.

My plan is to BRRR after the 3 years at school left and invest in one or two houses a year by working full time job as a civil engineer and invest in apartments. I already know people who can help me with managing my investments and have people who would do great job renovating my apartments. I also have renovated a lot of apartments in my life.

The problem is:

The person who is closest to me is telling me that I can´t invest in Real Estate because i do not have the school education to do it. I do not have any degree in business/ economics and because of this I would not know how to invest.

What is your opinion BiggerPockets nation? :)
