Excess moisture/potential mold issue in basement unit
28 May 2014 | 4 replies
There is nothing growing on the walls or anything, but if you go in there and sit on the couch or the bed it feels cold and damp like it was in a refrigerator or something.I don't believe there are any leaks or anything, I pay for the water bill and the bill is very reasonable, ~100 bucks a month for all three units. There is a crawlspace on the other side of the wall of her unit where the water heaters for the units reside and there are various things stored like yard tools, is it possible that rain water is getting into there somehow and leaking under the floor, humidifying the room?

Ebola can be spread through bodily fluids, including diarrhea, meaning it could be present on someones clothes, as they sit on a cloth seat in a plane, in a cloth chair at the ER, sit on a toilet seat in a public restroom, or have open wounds that touch fabric, arm rests, etc.

Ancient Boiler Issues

@Stephen S.The man who owned this house before me did a very poor job of maintaining this boiler, and he allowed the air in the basement to be damp, which made it even worse. The 'bonnet' is the part in this picture that looks like a mushroom sitting on top of the boiler (this is not my image, i just google image searched it)http://www.merrypad.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11...

Has anyone tried adding washer/dryer combos to units with no laundry?

Sam Leon (above) is right - if it can't be vented you'll likely have to go with a condensation dryer and they not only dry very slowly but they never really get your clothes fully dry.
