Can I push back on this citation?

Dear bigger pockets, My wife and I are both new to multi family investing and I posted two months ago about a "failure to obtain permits for a duplex" citation for a new multi-family property we just acquired. 

If he cares about his voters he will call code enforcement and get them to issue the owners a citation that they need to have everything remedied within usually 7 days.  

The landlord can get in trouble with the city, get citation from city codes and zoning department if there is car repairs shop is operated from his rental. 

This is permitted under IRS Revenue Procedure 2005-14 for those who would like the citation. 

My parents built a garage without a permit and got a citation for it.

Repairs made but delayed re-inspection and received a Citation by the city. 

Every state has a statement or terms that vary including typical citations of specific state statutes that authorize LLCs.  

Might as well give code compliance your address so they don't have to do much work to send a citation.
