@Jonathan Greene My plan as of right now is to start out as a real estate agent and join a company like Kellar Williams and eventually start investing.

I've just finished reading David Greene's Remote Investing book.Anyway, looking forward to talking with y'all, I hope everyone is keeping safe these days :).

I would recommend reading David Greene's book "Long-Distance Real Estate Investing" and then maybe come back with more specific answers.

I have somone to act as pm but their also green and collectively we are learning as much as we can.  

It seems like it would just need some paint (the walls are currently painted yellow, purple, and green!)

I'd buy @David Greene on long distant investing and jump in.Sometimes I think the best thing for newer (and experienced) investors is to move as fast as possible to the next state of being uncomfortable.Successful people get comfortable putting themselves in uncomfortable situations.If you come up from the STL to Chicago let me know.  

In David’s book he said before you establish a team, you need to establish what you want to purchase in real estate. Unfortunately, I found that he didn’t explain how to figure out the type of real estate that works ...
