Are there any groups in Baton Rouge I can join etc .

I'm not a pro, but I'm learning to be one, reading many books, following videos on youtube, and also joining some conversation on the bigger pocket forum. i think that a resume of the experience of some of you could be helpful not only for me if not for a lot of new entrepreneurs on real state.

Hi everyone, I am looking to join any REIA that is actively meeting in Michigan.

I would definitely start with AZREIA, as far as joining a group that will connect you to other investors and people who can help you learn the ropes here.

My wife and I made the decision that I would join her as a real estate agent and create a husband and wife team.

The final cost will depend on which brokerage you join..But, to answer your question again. 

The first step is to join a local real estate investor club to meet like minded people and to build your buyers list.

If you can prove a 12% return or better,  you should have no problem finding people with money that are interested in joining you.I would also like to know how you intend to manage these out-of-state as a military member?
