You just don't have the authority to force them to. 

:)Hi Gwen, There are really two issues that authors often get confused when writing articles, especially on the internet. 

When I go to the article there is no author and no identifying information.  

In one bathroom where it had a leak and the floor needed replaced he told the handyman to just lay a board across the floor for them to stand on, and would not authorize him to tear out and replace the particle board flooring that crumbling.

I actually was sent an email today from a contact I have a CHA (Chicago housing Authority) that they will be handing out 1000 new vouchers in the next few weeks. 

In my experience, they will usually require something in writing from the applicant authorizing them to release this information.

If she has capacity, powers and authority as executor or administrator, then she can provide you a copy of probate Letters.

You'll need to get a letter of authorization from the owner of the property with permission to contact their mortgage company.A payoff can be requested without taking to anyone. 

The way you get accurate data is to get an "authorization to release information" signed  by the borrower.
