The US House recently passed HR 1728 which limits you as an individual to sell real property using seller financing to only once every 36 months (HR 1728 Sec 101 Definition (3)(E)).Why are they doing this?

(e) No action shall be brought under Section 5321.15 of the Ohio Revised Code against a landlord who takes action in compliance with the provisions of this Section.

My husband didn't seem troubled by any of it.Our first 'no heat' situation caused us both to lose sleep, mostly b/c the tenant didn't bother to notify us for 2 days, she thought the others in the building had or would call and she was almost out of minutes on her phone, so instead of calling Friday afternoon she e mailed Sunday night.Currently, I am stressed about an upcoming vacancies- bunched of people have looked at one place since Monday but so far only one application and I'll have to reject them based on money owed to a past landlord.

I also carry a Benchmade folding knife with a 3 1/2" blade and yes, as someone mentioned - the cellphone and a good flashlight are very much a necessity.I also have had martial arts training - which I sincerely recommend to every land lord even if you have an aversion to guns.As to why the Glock - I actually settled on the Glock 30 after having an e-mail conversation with Massad Ayoob (you can google his name).

Cost seems pretty reasonable, check on e-bay, 700-800 for 1500/1800 btu for heat and air.
