I wanted to post artcles and resources here for the layman regarding legal issues, and no I am not an attorney.

Here is one to start, a web book on contracts.
http://chestofbooks.com/business/law/Law-Of-Contracts-4-1/index.html#.UVHq6xzvsrU

And a laymen language http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contract_law

If you have alot of time on your hands, at least have these two as references.

Any other BP members have re contract links? Especially or certian states like Tx and La.

Let me suggest that when you shop for text books or law books say on Amazon (no plug intended) that you can certainly target some of the older books as basic concepts in law have been around hundreds of years, so getting a book published in 1992 will probably be just fine and best of all.....CHEAP!

It will get expensive if you are wanting case law in recent years or get on some mailing list, if you can, many are restricted for attorneys.

Check out the public library and college book stores. School texts that are being replaced are pretty cheap.

My library is packed in boxes, I've been meaning to blow the dust off a few books, when I get them out I'll post titles.

I really advise those in RE to do some studying, law touches on every aspect of RE and you should be aware if you are dealing in RE. :)
