Sure - you won't get the hands on experience of owning your own duplex, but a lot of these synidcations/funds can provide great returns, via monthly or quartlery distributions, and require a small investment to obtain shares of a diversified portfolio.

For any realtors out there I wanted your perspective on obtaining my real estate license while I am in college so once I graduate I could potentially get right into working with a brokerage.I feel like this is something that I could bring to the table in terms of my goals for after I graduate.

My plan is to give myself till April 1st to find a 2-4 unit to purchase with an FHA, study the local market and if I don't feel like a 2-4 unit is obtainable by then, then I want to use an FHA to buy a single family house which I'd live in for 1.5-3 years while looking for a duplex/triplex/fourplex (I'd rent the single family house after moving out).
