i just looked at a 1/2 duplex (they referred to it as a condo) in a great part of my town..problem is the 2 owners of these 'condos' would form a 2 person Home owners assocation...that smells trouble for me being an investor who would rent out the condo and wnat to keep expenses low..the other side is owner occupied and i can see the arguments when it's time to replace the siding, and they want the best stuff on earth--esp since i'd have to foot half the bill..
