For instance buying a 50k rental in the mid west may be small change to some so they say what the heck I don't need to see it I will shop just like I shop at Amazon and buy it basically on line.Others will spend much time and money checking it out.. flying there and making certain its for them.I do think one way to dial for dollars is to contact those that bundle it up for you IE turn key type companies.. and I think a lot of time can be saved by talking with a few reputable PM's in a given market.. they will for sure be able to tell you were the management intense areas are.. and one's that are easier for them to manage. ( Ie code for quality of tenant) 

When I lined up my PM, I got a file (large one) on every area they PM in, that showed me the rental comps broken down on a map (critical...zip codes alone are useless) for different sizes of properties. 

No family or friends out there just strictly looking at numbers.

Or is this strictly a business you want to run long distance?

I'm working through Portland's guidelines and code for converting a detached garage.

I would like to change that because my number is not a local area code, and I am not able to answer the phone during the day as I work a 9-5.

In my town right now you would just need to go back to the office you got the permit from which would be code enforcement and fill out a new permit and maybe pay another fee or they might apply the first fee.

I am on the zoning board in Media and would recommend talking with the code enforcement department to see if they will offer any names of the usual attorneys they see at their zoning board meetings.

I don’t plan to live in the home, so it would be strictly for rental purposes. 

If possible, I wonder whether can share me some materials or link about Amortization Code Sections.Appreciate your help!
