He's an agent in town and does a great job for many of my clients.

I started going there since about 1990 from SoCal for fun and vacations so i've watched it evolve over the years from a dusty gambling town to an international resort destination and I see huge opportunity there over the next decade - it reminds me of LA around the Sunset Strip and Hollywood in the 80s when it was run down before billions of dollars started flowing in and now those areas are some of the most expensive in the city. 

We purchased a single family home last year in Abilene, Texas (small town) and had a lot of problems with the builders and sub-contractors.

We have been exploring new ways to increase revenue at our apartment complexes. 90% of our tenants are well below market value on rents.

I don’t quite buy it when we’re talking in-town vs further out (not a lot of quality inventory in-town vs apartments for rent, further out).

What used to be a commuter town, is now a full city in its own right.

@Shalom Shore if youre out of town, you must have a property mgr. the advantage os that they, at least should, know what they are doing

They're meet ups in towns and you'll get to talk about real estate and real estate related topics in person with people doing it. 

It's about 40-50 min to travel between the two towns.
