He knows the contractors, has the lawyer and title company relationships.Just not sure what do path to go right now...the logical side of my brain says to do another with my friend to continue to learn.

Once again before you waste a trip down here I would suggest linking up with a few local either wholesalers or real estate agents....set up a few calls with people first before coming down.But 19125/Fishtown is one of the hottest area's in the country for investing.

In my area there is no way you are going to buy a house with a warranty deed in two weeks like you can in other parts  of the country.  

You are on a great path to living you life on your terms by house hacking a 2 or a 4 unit for your first investment.

I currently live in a third world country and own a outsourcing business where we telemarket & provide customer support to companies based out of US, UK & Australia.

This is not a beginner market its one of the more difficult municipality in the entire country to work in even experienced rehabbers pull their hair out The value of this property your offering is probably pretty close to zero or negative My clients pay 10 to 30k for these as is then put 80 to120 into them.

I'am an investor in the Waterloo region, but I know lots of other Canadian investors across the country.
