Sometimes the county posts the wrong address for a case number and we would have the same address until they correct it, once in a blue there's a county address that is duplicated to another county, if you could PM me the address I can check for you.

ed, first of all, great questions. i really appreciate your knowledgable input...taught me a ton. i don't think there's a new cause. the smell was almost nonexistent after the crawl was finished. after every week for a month, it went down further. it would come back in pockets every once in a blue moon. there was one area (living room) where I'd smell it briefly in the family upon a rain shower.as you know, the crawl is cemented. there's no leaks found down there. good point on the attic. i will check into that in the spring. i know the area around the chimney is soft.

However there has been a lot of pettiness in the form of unprofessional emails from the builder, given only 1 role of blue tape for the blue tape walk through which was kind of sprung on me and they attempted to complete it within the hour with the orientation, however there were a LOT of cosmetic issues, requesting me to sign a form that states that I will retroactively pay a cost of carry for the months of August, September, and October if I don't close by the end of October.
