Is Texas City a bad area? Is it drug infested? What type of tenants will you get in Texas City if you rented out a duplex?

The figures look good in Texas City, but I saw pictures of Texas City and it looks discouraging.

Hmmm I've never been to Texas City specifically but I've grown up in Texas. If you're curious about the demographics and income check out their economic development council website. Specifically crime I'd check out the city crime maps on their city webpage because that's public information. The gulf by Houston is where all the oil, gas, and chemical refineries are at for Texas. So I am assuming you will encounter renters with decent paying jobs. I'd also say call realtors in that area to learn more about that community. However, they are gonna give you biased info in what they tell you about Texas City.
