I was wondering what can I proceed to do to take the extra steps needed to protect my legal interest in this and get my deserved share and prevent my uncle from selling behind my back in the future?

Right or wrong, when a lender realizes their REO or Short Sale transaction is being double closed/wholesaled for a profit, they know they didn't get top dollar, and they want to prevent that....pure and simple.
