I'd be more concerned about rental law and regulations in NY vs. the coronavirus effecting the finger lake region's rental market. 

These cities in Franklin County, PA have less regulations than the city part of Hagerstown and similar returns.

As far as I’ve seen, no SBA lenders lend on AirBNBs, though, I may be wrong, because each institution interprets the rules differently until they are reprimanded and told otherwise.In regards to the current situation at hand, it appears as though the government has already started bending the rules of the program.

The government has released minimal information/data and we have very little data or precedent for how this will unfold.

Hi everybody,I have a question about Dr Cashflow, the program to rent 3 bedrooms in a (fully furnished) 3-br unit to the Federal Government to house disabled people.The sales hype seems to claim 3 times market rent compared to the same unfurnished unit rented to a family.Are you achieving 3 times the market rent for a 3 bedroom (or is this sales hype as in one guy did it one time kind of thing)?

Your lease should govern the terms of your agreement for your property.

The regulations in these markets are very very favorable for STR investors, since it's been the norm for tourists to rent privately owned single family homes and condos on an overnight basis for decades.
