Ok well here in Navarre(or more people have heard of Destin or Fort Walton Beach) I'm believing you will have some ties here in the not so distant future.

@Neil Aggarwal Perhaps, you could offer some suggestions to your dad to find a good apartment syndicator who invests in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to invest with.

@Gino Forte The podcast are seriously an excellent tool in the BP arsenal.

That, along with the higher-ranked school system is probably why the deals are so thin, my guess.Like as was mentioned, to get more cash flow, will probably need to be in the Arlingtons, Fort Worths, Irving-like areas to get bang for your buck...of course there are always exceptions, you might find a gem somewhere in Allen because of divorce, estate, moving, etc.
