Good Morning fellow investors, I am currently a United States Marine who will be making a transition back into the civilian population. I reside in Temecula California I have been happily married to my wife for 6 years who supports my plan in getting into the real estate business. During my time in the military I have acquired many critical skills in operating with and managing individuals in a team work environment. I have a passion for investing in the stock market and desire to get my feet wet in the real estate market in order to reach my financial freedom and get out of the so called rat race. I started reading rich dad poor dad and it really changed the way I look at life and I now find myself striving to learn everything about the industry in real estate. What really motivated me with real estate is that I am currently getting ready to sell my house and I will be receiving a nice capital gain on it. At first I thought I was going to live in it for many years as most first time home buyers believe. I have made many upgrades to my home and after 3 years I decided to relocate and move back to the East coast in South Florida. I would like to consider the time I’m living in the home to be a live in flip. I do not wish to get into the flipping of houses mostly due the fact that I love dividend investing for the nature of its steady income to re-invest and make a bigger Return. With all that being said I look forward to networking and meeting successful individuals big or small to establish a connection as I'm always hungry for knowledge and in return I will dedicate my time and effort to make our relationship grow and prosper.

Welcome to BP Charles. I have a ranch near you in De Luz, behind Pendleton.

Besides BP, there are a number of real estate investing clubs that you ought to consider attending/joining. NSDREIA meets monthly in Vista/Oceanside area. It's non-profit, run by a board and not a pitch feast platform. There are others, however you'll have to find out for yourself.

If you're new to RE investing, you might be interested in upcoming events, such as Jimmy Napier event, in Orange County and others that provide a solid foundation if the different ways people invest intelligently and profitably.

Hope you find and connect with other similar-minded folks here. Good luck and thank you for serving!
