I had the opportunity yesterday to speak on a virtual stage about raising capital for multifamily syndication deals.In the past 12 months our group has closed just over $120mil in apartment investments with right at $35mil raised.At the end of the session the host asked what would be my best advice for someone just getting started raising capital:I see so many people holding themselves back because they are a perfectionist and want to see it perfect before taking action.You will never be able to release a product, seminar, presentation, pitch deck, etc. if you wait until it is perfect.

The price of properties in Australia are obviously very different to the American market, I can't even imagine something like wholesale buying and although I have found the bp podcasts very informative at this stage I am still coming to terms with concepts and terminology.

I have invested in numerous other markets and I'm always open to a good deal.In addition to investing, I have taught from numerous stages as well as one on one with many beginning and thriving investors around the country.Glad to have found a great forum to exchange ideas and help.Regan

We have excess cash and don't want to put it in the stock market and long term want to work for ourselves on something passionate- why not be real estate.
