My name is Luke, I have always been interested in investment but have spent the last 7 years scraping by on a single wage while raising a family. My partner and I are now in the position and have the mental space to start thinking about our financial future and have begin researching.

I am looking at various options but to rent and hold in the local area looks the most appealing initially with a few to flipping and potentially property development longer term.

I'll be combing the forums but would love to hear any advice particularly on the Australian market and what opportunities may be around to take advantage of.
