Another $20 gets criminal background; I am new to NTN so I can't speak to their results for criminal background, although they do say they are not instantaneous because they like to check the report for accuracy before sending it, but have always found WAY more info checking online court records for Cook, Kane, and Dupage counties.

Our property insurance went up 20% over last year, no claims, same credit score, because the whole state of Illinois rate went up due to bad weather, and then of course you've got Cook County property tax hikes...

The thinking being that even a smaller pot of money--if allowed to compound and grow over a number of years--would then result in tax-free withdrawals down the road.The assumption one must make in doing this is that the income drawn on down the road--since it's tax-free--would be more than if I kept my funds in the existing "regular" IRA, let those investments compound, and pay taxes when I withdraw.Looking forward to responses!
