I'm not in any major hurry to get rich from my investments, but I do enjoy the Rubik's cube solver mentality of the real estate game :)

I always operate under the "why isn't this guy doing it instead of selling education" mentality.  

It's part of the herd mentality.

"You'll never get there if you don't try" was the mentality that I went into it with.I was up front with the owner - I didn't have the finances to go with a 20% down to the bank, so I offered 10% and I would pay him off in full after five years through a refinance.

If anything happens god forbid both of you guys should know the business in and out 🙂investing in ourselves mentally and financially is a great feeling working a 9-5 doesn’t not really give you that feeling

In there he initialed that he is under no duress and am mentally competent and that he entered the purchase agreement transaction thoughtfully and deliberately.

Also, hosting requires a different mentality and skill set than landlording and flipping.

However, they did not have a home owner mentality of taking care of the home and they trashed the place and stopped paying which lead to the foreclosure and eviction.

I hear this on BP often and think what many fail to account for is that when/if prices do contract will you be prepared mentally to buy something that is percieved to be loosing value?
