The same has now occurred with the Team Lead who has shared that my Realtor lacked experience and may’ve had ill intentions of getting greedy with deals that they started to cut the Team Lead out completely.CURRENT STATEThe Team Lead has asked me to sign a new contract.

I live in Colorado where I've noticed programs that are income restricted while they have great and important intentions - it's so limiting because the folks who both have a high enough income to qualify for the mortgage yet also low enough to make income qualifications are such a small small % of the population it makes it almost impossible to meet both criteria at once. 

It didn't cost you anything and we all have the best of intentions.

One I did have direct contact and several phone calls with the owner of the program but he was intent on steering me to create a syndication which was not the stated goals of the program or what I had stated was my intention when I was pre-screened for the program.

They didn't want men gambling away the house in a poker game and leaving the women and children without a place to live.The intent I think for a home to be designated your homestead is that is where you live. 

And while it's not currently, this is something my husband and I had talked about doing and were planning to do before (ironically and sadly) he got very, very ill.

Our meetups are intentionally conversational, networking focused, etc.

So yeah, financial freedom does not exist in your thoughts or intentions yet, all that matters is getting started, that 1st deal, just that 1.

Your lender will likely base the loan off just one income/credit though (at least that's how my lenders have done it)I would personally advise against it - life is a windy road and you never know when one of you may want out of the deal even if both have full intent to stay in from the onset.

Of course, the party with an equitable has to clearly state that they do not own the property and that they merely intend to assign the contract, if in fact that is there intention.
