I am open to any advice and my current struggle is finding a duplex in my budget.

I highly encourage all my tenants to keep open communication with me about any struggles to pay rent, and generally they do.

This progress has been a blessing, and we’re committed to continuing on this path.

I thought I was buying at top of the market in 2020...and 2022...but prices continue to remain high.

I can only speak to myself personally but I've continued to invest, knowing properties may not cash flow much but I've invested in value-add so focusing on appreciation.

At this point, instead of continuing to pay the interest loan payments on properties that we will never be able to financially finish since the rehab loans will not cover the actual cost of the rehab, I wanted to know the ramifications of returning the properties to the loan servicer, deed in lieu.

So if yours is like the old time beach rentals - mismatched thrift store furniture, linens, and decor, you're going to struggle with reviews.
