But we have a lot of interaction with guests before they ever arrive - we require a photo ID of whomever has booked our house (and the name and info has to match the booking info), a working cell phone number that we will send a test message to by text to confirm it belongs to the guest (or is at least in their possession), and we converse with them to let them know what to expect from us (and if we have any specific concerns we share those as well) - for example, this week if we had anyone scheduled to arrive we would be discussing the incoming hurricane.

I suppose, though, that most people search on phones and the search results are more important on those devices.

Its either ra ra ra  or dose of reality so someone understands what the challenges are. the fellow who runs the call center gave the best advice for someone with a few hours.. just hit the phones and try to create leads for others.

You are under no obligation to argue back and forth, answer questions, provide phone numbers, send pictures, or any of this nonsense.

I just received a phone call from OneRent after I post my rental ads.

That can take some time, a few phone calls, a site visit, etc but I find it can avoid problems down the road.Good luck,Steve
