Those two books are on my Christmas list!

Of course that means I am doing drywall, painting and carpeting over Christmas hehe.

I received notification this morning that their January rent was deposited last night, 12-days before rent-day ... better than the 12-days of Christmas!

I am convinced the Canadians just have it on a different date to allow them another day to come over to shop & smuggle stuff back before Christmas :)

I'll be home for Christmas break mid December to early January.

I've been based in Miami since August but will be heading home for Christmas before returning for another extended stay most likely in April.I've been developing a modest 'buy and hold' portfolio of property back home since 2006 which currently consists of 6 tenanted residential properties in and around my home town.

I remember mowing our lawn one week during Christmas break and calling our parents in Idaho and Utah and they were shoveling feet of snow.

I will probably be up at my other home there during Christmas time. :)

He is going to spend his Christmas break taking out carpet and replacing floorboards with the hope of cutting that estimate in half.
