Hello from Phoenix, Arizona
Hi,
I haven't spent much time in online forums in the past, however, I am beginning to realize the benefit of being able to network other people that have similar interests and goals. I have owned rental real estate in the past, however, I bought two properties in 2006. I didn't know what I was doing at the time and one ended up getting foreclosed on. I learned a lot from that whole deal and plan to be wiser about my real estate investing moving forward.
I have since had the privilege of gaining national media attention for paying off $52,000 in debt in 18 months through my blog called Well Kept Wallet. I then turned my passion into a business and help other people with their finances as a Financial Coach.
I am looking to learn from others in this forum as well as help out any way I can through my own experiences.
Thanks!
Deacon

Hello @Deacon Hayes , I had a similar deal with a rental bought at the wrong time and going into foreclosure. Wasn't fun, but quite the learning experience.
Congrats on the debt payoff, that is a pretty impressive payoff in a short amount of time.. Was that school loans, mortgage, or a combination of things?
