And the lien position is the most important thing after knowing the rules for that type of lien; if you end up bidding on a junior lien position, you then become responsible for paying off all liens that are more senior in position.

Since I will be unemployed, I have thought that perhaps house-flipping would be a great use of my time - however I would certainly need a mentor for that undertaking and would likely need to cooperate with another flipper on a few houses prior to venturing out on my own.
