I like space.

I am interested in investing in commercial property (apartments with 4/5 units) or office space in NYC or Long Island.

Our upstairs space sat vacant for a few months and we initially planned to leave it that way.

Hi all,I have a rental townhouse (doing some much needed updating) that is 3 levels with the lower level walk out being the front-door, foyer-hall, garage, and a finished 13x13 room that has full bath and laundry space for w/d. 

I get calls just about every week from someone from Los Angeles or the Bay Area looking to move up here and they want to buy a house and/or buy a business or lease space as a retail tenant (you have to be able to negotiate a commercial lease).  

It has cabinet space on both sides, which is nice, but unnecessary. 

Long story short, we operate a couple of different businesses from home and our space in our home is rather tight to live and work efficiently.

This house is plaster as opposed to drywall used in modern construction.The carpenter would nail the slats to the studs and then apply plaster.    

@Timur Salikov I have friends with modern Airbnbs in the Coronado Historic District near downtown Phoenix where hipsters are flocking.  

I plan to start off in a 2-4 Unit Owner Occupied Unit. my first question is, how long should the investor live in an OO unit before they rent out their space to seek for another OO unit?
