It sounds like the properties themselves are not great cash flow opportunities and the returns would be fairly minimal.

Most local banks don't want to waste their time on a loan they're only going to make 4 to 6 months of interest on.

These will be houses that sell for 10-20k, need minimal work, and will rent for 700-900 a month.

Most of the time, I'm doing custom stuff on MySQL/PHP at certain build levels on apache systems, with minimal UI (95% web-based anymore).

They will also make it difficult for contractors to get any work done on the property.To minimize the risk of having one, add an extra level of screening where priory to approving, you schedule a call with them to discuss the property, lease agreement, and the way you to business.
